For over 34 years Brian Schrand has been a noteworthy leader in the telecommunication space. He joined Clearfield’s technical staff in 2010 as an application engineer and is now the Vice President of their Application Engineering/Field services team. Prior to Clearfield he was Sr. Staff member at Cincinnati Bell Telephone where he was the subject matter expert for OSP products. In 2006 Cincinnati Bell launched their first fiber to the home build as a result Brian held the instrumental role in building the companies network standards. Before Cincinnati Bell he was a key contributor in designing and constructing the City of Cincinnati’s municipal fiber network. Brian currently resides in Cincinnati. When he is not busy helping people design cost effective fiber networks you can find him enjoying the great outdoors.
