Jon is an experienced network engineer and business leader whose passion is to bring broadband to the unserved. He started with SECOM at its beginning, over two decades ago. Beginning as a network engineer, he has served may roles over the years. Currently, Jon serves as the Chief Business Development Officer.

Being an innovator and pioneer at heart, in 1999 he designed and deployed Colorado’s first Metro Optical Ethernet (MOE) network. During his tenure at SECOM, he has overseen seven acquisitions, and successfully written six broadband grants.

Jon’s other passion is helping successful leaders make positive lasting growth. In 2019, he founded Peak Leadership Academy, a leadership coaching and training company. Currently, he is certified as a Marshall Goldsmith Stakeholder Centered Coach, and a Maxwell Leadership Coach, Speaker, and Trainer.

On a personal note, he loves doing outdoor activities and projects with Christol, his high school sweetheart and wife of 40 years. Together, they also enjoy spending time with their grandchildren
