Prateek Chakravarty is the CEO of Zinier, a leading field service automation platform that uses AI and machine learning to help infrastructure-related industries optimize their field installation and maintenance operations and empower frontline workers. Prateek has spent the last decade with two global startups bringing digital transformation and servitization to the physical, infrastructure world. Prior to joining Zinier in 2020, Prateek was a part of the founding team at Bidgely, a Khosla Ventures-funded software company providing AI-driven customer and grid analytics to electric and gas utilities across the world helping them modernize their grid operations and integrate more renewable energy. . Prateek started his career in infrastructure-related industries first as an operator and then as an investor. He was a field operations engineer in the energy sector with Schlumberger working in Indonesia, France, and Russia. He was also part of a corporate venture fund for one of the largest utilities in the US (Pacific Gas & Electric) where he led investments in rooftop solar companies such as SolarCity and Sunrun. With a deep understanding of the challenges faced by field service organizations, their frontline workers, and global customers, Prateek is passionate about scaling Zinier to be the installation and maintenance platform of choice for all infrastructure-related businesses. Under his leadership, Zinier has grown rapidly, securing over $90 million in funding and expanding its customer base to include some of the world's largest and most innovative enterprises. Prateek holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, and a Master's degree in Business Administration from Harvard Business School. He is an avid globetrotter, a passionate sports fan, and ever grateful for the three lovely ladies in his life - the wife boss, and twin girls.
