Calvin Deleavey worked for Bell for more than 30 years in a number of different roles and retired from Bell about five years ago. For the last 5 years, Calvin has served Mobia Technology Innovations as the Vice President, Broadband Services for Canada. He started his career as a technician and moved into Engineering and Operations Management roles about ten years later. Since 2008, Calvin has been dedicated to the FTTH rollout, leading teams that delivered all the planning, contract management, utility contracts, and design/build standards for fiber until becoming heavily involved in implementation. The majority Mobia’s 400+ team is involved in FTTH design and implementation. Since working with Bell in the early days of FTTH, Calvin has been involved with delivering FTTH to over two million homes and businesses, completing turnkey designs for large rural broadband builds in several Canadian provinces, from the northwest areas of Canada to the extreme east coast.
