Allen Hemrich is Senior Vice President of Operations for Mears Broadband, and in this capacity is responsible for Operations in the Eastern US Region. In addition, Allen develops, implements, and revises operations polices and guidelines for the organization, as well as consulting with departmental heads to develop plans to ensure company compliance; and overseeing client services.

Allen has over 29 years of experience in the telecommunications industry running large projects, leading teams, and growing businesses. Mr. Hemrich has been involved in all aspects of outside plant engineering, right of way procurement, construction, and operations, as a telecom professional. Mr. Hemrich has developed strong leadership, program management, communications, and team-building skills.

Prior to joining The Mears Group, Allen held the position of Vice President of Ledcor Technical
Services. He led a multifunctional team of professionals across the United States.

A couple of the notable projects Allen has been involved with include KentuckyWired, which was a “First of its Kind” Public Private Partnership (PPP) middle-mile broadband deployment in the state of Kentucky, MVFL, which was also a “First of its Kind” PPP in the Northwest Territories of Canada, and The Illinois Century Network (ICN); a high-performance network built to meet the Internet and Intranet needs of the educational, research, governmental organizations serving the citizens of Illinois, statewide.

Mr. Hemrich holds a master’s degree in business administration (MBA) from A.B. Freeman School of Business at Tulane University in New Orleans, LA.
