In addition to providing utility locating training services, damage prevention and investigation services as owner of Ron Peterson Consulting, LLC, Ron has been a member of Nulca since 1996 as well as a member of NUCA since 2003. In 2003, Ron was elected to the Board of Directors of Nulca until 2009, when he became the Executive Director of the Association. He has also served as the Claims Avoidance Program Director for NUCA since 2007.
Ron’s background includes over 30 years of experience in the underground utility industry, and he is an OSHA authorized trainer for the construction industry, general industry and the oil and gas industry.
Ron is dedicated to damage prevention and improving safety within the industry. He is a founding member of the Missouri Common Ground Alliance as well as several other Regional Partners. He has been a member of the CGA since its inception, serving on numerous committees. He has won numerous awards for his efforts, including NUCA Associate of the Year and Most Valuable Member of the CGA.
