Evaluate this session
Seventy (70%) to 80% of total network deployment costs reside in the actual construction of the network. Projects can be undermined when undisclosed construction costs are revealed too late in the deployment phase for mitigation. In order to reach ROI paydirt quickly, it is critical to carefully plan for and efficiently manage the construction phase and all the contractors, designs, engineering, and supply chain along the way. By creating this efficiency, network operators can get to the front of the supply chain and lock in necessary labor before others, too.
This session will explore strategies to ensure network operators, service providers, state broadband offices, and more can accurately plan, design, and engineer high-quality fiber broadband networks that reach ROI faster. Attendees will hear from a panel of network construction experts on how bringing in contractors early to the process enables network operators to stay on budget and complete projects as efficiently as possible.
Attendees will walk away with a better understanding of:
- Planning for undisclosed construction costs and impediments.
- How partnerships can create a seamless and transparent construction experience from end to end.
- Why it is critical to carefully plan for and efficiently manage the construction phase and all the contractors, design, engineering, and supply chain along the way.
