Frontier's New Innovation Outside Plant Laboratory was built for the purpose of training, evaluating, developing, and testing both existing and new technologies in a real-world environment to help enhance and improve the Frontier customer experience in building Gigabit America. The Innovation OSP Lab sits on 1,000 meters of land that includes a mini-C.O., both aerial and underground facilities such as manhole, handholes, pedestals, poles, splice closures, terminals, fiber optic cables and a model SFU containing various equipment used for in-home solutions. Everything is done in a safe, non-service disruptive, and controlled environment. Be sure to register for this tour at ISE EXPO and see the Day 1 keynote speaker, Scott Mispagel, Frontier's Senior Vice President, National Engineering and Operations. Scott's team will be hosting the tour.
