Derek Jones, a passionate professional with over 18 years in the networking and telecommunications industry, currently serves as Chief Operating Officer for Planters Broadband Cooperative. As COO, he is responsible for overseeing construction, engineering, networking and purchasing for more than 10,000 subscribers in southeast Georgia. Outside of professional duties, Derek enjoys spending time with his family and contributing to various community organizations. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from Georgia Southern University.
