Maulik Shah is the AVP of Technology Strategy within the Global Technology Planning team at AT&T. In this role, he oversees AT&T's Integrating Planning and Forecasting efforts. Before this, Maulik served as Director – Member of Technical Staff in the AT&T HQ RAN Engineering organization, where his team was responsible for several key initiatives associated with enhancing customer experience, AI/ML in RAN, SON, Automation and many more. Since joining AT&T in 2021, Maulik has spearheaded inter-departmental efforts to shape AT&T’s strategic direction for the future. Prior to his tenure at AT&T, Maulik held significant leadership positions at other major US wireless operators, including Verizon and Sprint. He is a highly respected and renowned technical leader, known for his expertise in leveraging data analytics and automation to enhance customer experience and network efficiency. Maulik's extensive contributions to the field are evidenced by over 200 patents granted to him by the USPTO in Wireless Radio Access Network technology. His career, spanning across 3G, 4G, and 5G wireless projects worldwide, has significantly advanced wireless communication systems, improved resource management, and driven innovation in telecommunications.
