Andrew Degidio is a Senior Technical Manager for Sumitomo Electric Lightwave, focusing on fusion splicer support and development. He has been in the fiber optic industry since 2014 and has held multiple positions ranging from service and repair, to product development, sales support and field service engineering. Based in Atlanta, Georgia, Andrew is a veteran of the United States Navy and holds FOA CFOT certification. One of his passions is training the next generation of fusion splicing technicians and supporting the evolving industry demands.
