Wilfred de Wildt is a seasoned telecom executive with nearly three decades of experience in fiber network innovation across Europe and USA. He began his career at a TELCO in 1996 and was appointed the Netherlands’ first Program Manager for Fiber to the Business in 2004. His passion for fiber technologies led him to the contracting side of the industry in 2013, where he helped scale FTTH deployments in both the Netherlands and Denmark. Since 2021, Wilfred has been CEO of Yungo, an international engineering company focused on FTTH and digital infrastructure. Under his leadership, Yungo has played a key role in designing and maintaining next-generation networks—and is now expanding its expertise to support the energy transition. Known for his hands-on leadership and strategic mindset, Wilfred believes in building resilient, high-performing teams and future-ready infrastructure.
