I have spent most my academic and professional life as a "hybrid" between the European (especially German) and the United States' broadband communications industries. I have run a German engineering and integration company for twenty years, have trained engineers and field techs on five continents, and brought about one hundred broadband engineers into the industry as a professor. I love to teach communications systems and hope to give an insight into workforce development in Europe, in comparison to the United States.
