Ali serves as Chief Marketing Officer and fourth generation co-owner of Arriva, alongside her sister, continuing a family business that is celebrating 103 years in the telecommunications industry. She began working alongside her grandfather in 2013, starting her career in accounting and financial analysis, where she recognized a need for marketing. She took the initiative to build the company’s marketing function from the ground up. She established Arriva’s social media presence and websites and led early customer engagement and marketing efforts. In 2022, Ali was promoted to Chief Marketing Officer and transitioned into a full-time marketing leadership role, where she led Arriva’s comprehensive rebrand, her first major initiative as CMO. Today, she oversees the company’s sales and customer experience teams, and is responsible for marketing, brand, and growth initiatives across the organization. Ali is actively involved in industry leadership, serving as President of the Broadband Association of Alabama and Mississippi (BAAM) and President of the Independent Telecommunications Pioneer Association of the Midsouth (Midsouth ITPA). She is also a board member of the Georgia Telecommunications and Broadband Association (GTBA), and a member of the PAC Board for NTCA – The Rural Broadband Association. In addition, she serves as Public Relations Chair for the ITPA Midsouth and participates on the executive and event planning committees for BAAM. She previously chaired the 2021 Rebranding Committee for BAAM. She is a two-time recipient of the Pioneer Spirit Award from the Midsouth ITPA, and completed the Young Leadership Council Program in 2022. Arriva operates in Mississippi and Georgia and is actively expanding its fiber network to serve rural communities. The company was recently awarded significant BEAD funding, positioning Arriva to grow its service territory by nearly 40%, and bring next generation connectivity to even more rural communities.
