Proper grounding of electrical systems is critical to protect both building occupants and equipment from the danger of high voltage. Proper bonding and grounding significantly reduce the risk of fire, electric shock and equipment damage. A well-designed grounding system is only as good as it’s installation. Our presentation will review proper installation of the two most popular methods of good grounding, exothermic welding and resilient mechanical connections. Computer simulation will allow participants to visualize how to accomplish good ground installations, as well as proper methods and procedures.
