John Robbins is a Senior Manager of Network Engineering for Fort Collins Connexion, leading a 24/7 Network Operations Center of more than 25 staff members. John has 20+ years experience in telecommunications, including lead design and architecture roles with Lucent Technologies, Alcatel-Lucent, and Nokia. His areas of expertise include IP Architecture, MPLS Traffic Engineering, QoS and Fixed Access technologies (GPON and XGS-PON). John holds a Bachelor of Science, Electrical Engineering degree from Texas Tech University and a Master of Science, Electrical Engineering degree from Arizona State University, along with a US Patent from Lucent Technologies. Away from work, John is a volunteer in Scouting and Robotics education, and enjoys the Colorado outdoors with his wife and 2 sons.
