2027 CALL FOR SPEAKERS

THE CALL FOR SPEAKERS IS NOW OPEN!

PROPOSAL DEADLINE:

A Note from the Advisory Board Chair

I've spent more than two decades on the operator side of this industry, from designing and permitting outside plant at Comcast to leading telecom strategy at a global GIS company, and the lesson that's stuck with me the longest is a simple one: networks are built by people, and they're built best when people stop working in silos. Fiber, wireless, cable, satellite, and the utility grid used to live in separate worlds with separate conferences, but the networks we're building today don't care about those lines, and neither should we.

That's what makes ISE EXPO different. This isn't a fiber show, a wireless show, or a cable show that happens to mention convergence. It's the one place where every network type gets an equal seat at the table, and where operators, engineers, planners, and leaders can learn from each other instead of talking past each other.

I'll be on stage as your emcee this year, and I'm asking you to join me. If you've solved a hard problem in the field, built something that works across network types, or learned a lesson the rest of us need to hear, this is your stage. People first, always, and that starts with the people willing to share what they know.

About the 2027 Conference Theme

Tomorrow's networks won't be defined by a single technology; they'll be defined by how well every technology works together. ISE EXPO 2027 connects the professionals who plan, build, operate, and grow the converged infrastructure powering our world.

This year's program is organized around the full life of a network, so attendees can follow a clear path from first design to long-term growth:

Plan It: Choosing the right technology for every location, comparing the real costs, performance, and risks of each network type, and using GIS and digital twins to plan networks that hold up in the real world.

Build It: Getting networks in the ground faster by tackling the poles, permits, and people challenges that slow down every build.

Run It and Grow It: Running networks more efficiently with AI, automation, and strong security, while finding new ways to grow revenue in a competitive market.

We review every application on its own merits. We encourage people of color, women, men, LGBTQ+ professionals, veterans, and people at every stage of their career, regardless of age or title, to apply. Some of the best insights in this industry come from the folks closest to the work.

Conference Session Format

Attendees have told us loud and clear that they want real conversations, not product pitches. Sessions built around content-driven storytelling in the form of panel discussions consistently draw the strongest engagement, so the majority of accepted content will follow this format:

  1. A panel moderator
  2. Three to four panelists
  3. ONE representative from a network service provider or network operator
  4. Two to three industry subject matter experts from different companies
  5. An interactive, objective discussion with only ONE company or product mention per panel

Strong proposals bring different network perspectives into the same conversation. A panel that pairs a fiber builder with a wireless engineer and a utility operator is exactly the kind of session that makes ISE EXPO worth attending.

Topics of Interest Include:

PLAN IT
Technology-Neutral Network Planning for Every Location

BUILD IT

Accelerating Deployment Through Poles, Permits, and People

RUN IT AND GROW IT

Reducing OpEx and Growing Revenue with AI, Automation, and Network Security
